Open Pores Treatment in Delhi NCR
It’s Not Just "Oil." It Might Be Micro-Scarring.
Do you feel your skin looks rough, pitted, or like an orange peel?
"Open Pores" are not just a cosmetic nuisance; they are complex structural changes in the skin. While simple pores expand due to oil, stubborn pores that refuse to close are often the result of micro-scarring, dehydration, or PCOD-driven inflammation.
At Dermaclinix, recognized as the best skin and hair clinic in South Delhi, Gurgaon, and Noida, we distinguish between a "dilated pore" and a "scarred pore." We use a Multi-Modality Approach to physically remodel the skin structure from the inside out.

The "Permanent" Pore: Why Toners Don't Work
You are correct to wonder why some pores remain wide even after using expensive toners. This happens due to a specific pathological process:
Perifollicular Fibrosis (Scarring of the Pore Mouth).
- The Cause: Years of acne, blackheads, or chronic inflammation cause constant irritation around the oil gland.
- The Damage: The body attempts to heal this irritation by laying down new collagen. However, instead of healthy elastic skin, it forms dense, rigid collagen bands around the neck of the pore.
- The Result: These collagen bands act like a stiff "collar" or ring, freezing the pore mouth in a permanently open position. Because the tissue is scarred, the pore loses its elasticity and cannot snap back to a smaller size naturally.
- The Cure: Creams cannot penetrate this scar tissue. Only energy devices or microneedling can physically break these collagen bands to release the tension.
Other Causes: Hormones & Aging/p>
- Hyper-Seborrhea (PCOD): In PCOD, high androgen levels force oil glands into overdrive. The massive flow of oil physically stretches the pore wall.
- Loss of Collagen (Aging): As skin ages, the supportive "scaffolding" around the pore collapses, causing it to sag and look wider.
Our Advanced Treatment Arsenal
We treat the cause, not just the symptom. We mix and match these technologies based on your skin analysis:
A. Dermapen 4 (Advanced Microneedling)
- Best For: Breaking the "Scar Collar" (Fibrosis) and improving texture.
- How it Works: This automated device creates thousands of vertical micro-channels. The physical mechanical trauma breaks up the rigid collagen bands holding the pore open, triggering a healing response that lays down new, flexible collagen.
B. MNRF (Microneedling Radiofrequency)
- Best For: Very oily skin and deep acne scars.
- How it Works: It releases RF heat directly into the sebaceous glands. This shrinks the oil gland (reducing the "river" of oil) and tightens the deep dermal layers.
C. Micro-Botox (Mesobotox)
- Best For: Instant "Glass Skin" and event prep.
- How it Works: Ultra-diluted Botox is injected superficially to target the Arrector Pili muscles and sweat/oil glands.
- Result: It paralyzes the pore's ability to excrete oil and physically constricts the opening for a smooth, matte finish.
D. Erbium Glass Laser (Non-Ablative)
- Best For: Overall skin densification.
- How it Works: Creates microscopic heat columns to stimulate massive collagen production without peeling the skin.
E. Skin Boosters (Restylane Vital / Profhilo)
- Best For: Dehydrated skin with an "Orange Peel" texture.
- The Logic: Dehydrated skin sags, causing pores to gape open.
- How it Works: We inject micro-droplets of stabilized Hyaluronic Acid deep into the dermis.
- Result: The Hyaluronic Acid absorbs water and swells, increasing the skin's "turgor pressure." This internal hydration plumps the skin surrounding the pore, physically compressing the pore opening from the sides. It creates a smooth, light-reflective surface often called the "Hydro-Lift" effect.
Why Are They Difficult to Treat in PCOD?
- In PCOD, the internal "oil tap" is constantly turned on by hormones. Even if we shrink the pore, the oil pressure will try to stretch it open again.
- Our Strategy: We combine Oral/Topical Hormonal Management (to stop the oil) with Dermapen/Laser (to fix the structure) for long-term results.
